Archaeological Museum of Naples- One of the great museums of the world, housing the most spectacular finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, a fine examples of Greek sculpture and an outstanding collection of ancient Egyptian Art. From the 13th of October 2006 to 26th of February 2007 EGITTOMANIA: Between Campania and Egypt there is a strong tie,this is the main    of the exhibition "Iside and the mistery of Naples", visitable from the 13 octber to 26 february 2007 at "Museo Archeologico Nazionale" (national museum) of Naples. Sponsored by "Direzione Regionale per i Beni Culturali e Paesaggistici della Campania",in collaboration with "Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici di Napoli e Caserta" and the  "Soprintendenza archeologica di Pompei",the exhibition is promoted by "Regione Campania"The exhibition shows the history of the strong ties between Egypt and Naples,from the beginning,when the Phenicians bought and sold Egyptian handworks in the region. The beating heart of the exhibition is the "Iside workship" within the area of Campi Flegrei.

• Christmas in Naples  2007 December 2007 - January 2008

• 20 October 2007 - 20 January 2008 :FIFTY YEARS of history, art and culture. On 5 May 1957 “il Museo e le Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte” was opened to the public as a renovated venue displaying the collections of medieval and modern art. Thus it is that on the 50th anniversary of the ‘refounding’ of the Museum of Capodimonte, the Neapolitan Soprintendenza is promoting a series of initiatives recalling on one hand the historical, and institutional development of the Museum of Capodimonte, and on the other its constant vocation as a cultural and civil beacon of international renown.Together with concerts, conferences and a series of documentaries, a request has gone out to the museums, foundations and collectors, in Italy and further afield, with whom Capodimonte has been associated in a close and on-going collaboration during its half century of existence, to contribute to an exhibition of paintings which are not to be found in the permanent collection. Thus from 26 October to 20 January 2008, works by Caravaggio, Rubens, Rembrandt, Poussin, Manet, Degas, van Gogh, Picasso, Bacon and Basquiat will stand as a ‘homage’ by all those public and private institutions which continue to believe in the significance and value of what Capodimonte has been doing in the cultural field, nationally and in the international arena. And the same motivation lies behind the invitation to four contemporary artists who work in the domain of photography to realise a sequence of exhibitions with the emblematic title “A view of Capodimonte, a view from Capodimonte”.

• Fifth edition of the "festa dell`arte" dedicated to CAMPANIA ARTECARD: all the museums of the CAMPANIA ARTECARD circuit will be free open during the first week-end of March
